Samah tells this account at 42, four months pregnant and afraid of what lies ahead. What began as a wish for motherhood became a story of professional betrayal, assault, and blackmail.
The following is a retelling of the narrated account, not medical advice or an independent finding about
a real practitioner. The job that changed her circumstances
Samah came from a family with limited means. Her father worked in security, and his income barely covered their needs. After studying accounting, she struggled to find a suitable job.
A former classmate working in the United Arab Emirates introduced her to an opportunity in one of Sheikh Salim’s businesses. The company arranged her contract and travel, and she went to Abu Dhabi.
Her performance in an import and export company earned her a move to the main office. When colleagues mocked her modest clothing, Salim intervened, apologized for their behavior, and improved her position at work.
Months later, he asked her to become his third wife. He also helped her family and arranged work for her father. She accepted, feeling affection and gratitude for his support.
Pressure to have a child
Over the years, Salim increasingly demanded a child and raised the possibility of divorce. Samah suspected that the fertility difficulty involved him, but she did not feel able to discuss it openly.
A friend recommended a gynecologist called Peter in Dubai. Samah hoped a private appointment would protect both her marriage and her wish to become a mother.
According to her account, the doctor said that the difficulty lay with her husband, then proposed something that was not legitimate treatment. She left distressed.
In her fear, she told Salim she was pregnant before a pregnancy had occurred. He celebrated, leaving her trapped in a claim she did not know how to take back.
What she says happened at the clinic
Samah returned on a day when the clinic was nearly empty. She recounts that Peter impaired her ability to resist and assaulted her.
When she regained awareness, she was in pain and asked what he had done. He attempted to present the assault as something necessary for pregnancy.
The story does not support that explanation. It describes an abuse of professional trust and a violation of her consent.
The threats afterward
About two months later, Peter told her she was pregnant. She then learned that he had recorded a visit and was using the recording to threaten her.
Knowing that she was married to a wealthy businessman, he demanded money and threatened to send the recording to her husband if she refused or did not return. A video sent through WhatsApp made the threat feel immediate.
Samah feared her husband’s reaction, her family’s response, and the consequences of the secret she had already told. The narrated account leaves her in that unresolved crisis.
Its central responsibility rests with the person who assaulted and threatened her. The surrounding pressure and her earlier fear explain her vulnerability; they do not excuse what was done to her.
