A marriage years in the making
Nesma had grown up in the countryside. Several men had proposed to her, but she wanted to marry Hazem. He loved her, worked abroad, and spent years saving for their apartment, wedding jewelry, and life together.
After five years, he returned and they finally married. Their happiness did not unfold the way either of them had imagined.
From their first night together, an unexplained problem disrupted their intimacy. Each attempt to get closer ended in distress. Nesma grew frightened and began searching for an explanation.
Fear opens the door to a stranger
Her mother noticed that something was wrong. Questions about the marriage soon became questions about her daughter’s reputation. In their community, people began suggesting that someone had placed a spell on Nesma.
That was how Sheikh Maimoun’s name entered the conversation. People in the village said he could remove spells and resolve problems that others could not explain.
Wanting to protect her marriage, Nesma accompanied her mother to see him. She did not realize that the visit would expose her to a different kind of danger.
Maimoun made unusual demands. He also appeared to know details about Nesma and Hazem that she had not told him. Instead of feeling reassured, she became increasingly afraid.
A promise of help becomes a threat
Nesma began to suspect that the visit was the start of a trap rather than a solution. She worried about humiliation, losing her husband, and having her private life exposed.
The story follows the point at which fear makes someone vulnerable to a person who claims to have all the answers. Nesma and Hazem’s love remains at its center, but the pressure surrounding their marriage allows deception to intrude.
The accompanying narrated video continues their story and reveals what follows Nesma’s visit.
